Long or short grain, wild or Jasmine, white or red⦠the Emile Henry Rice Pot is expert in cooking rice grains to perfection. Inspired by traditional rice cooking utensils, it diffuses the heat gently to ensure cooking the grain evenly while enhancing flavours and respecting the texture.
With its thick walls, it gradually rises in temperature, stores heat and releases it evenly. The inner lid prevents boiling over, helps keep the steam close to the rice and encourages even steam circulation so that each grain is perfectly cooked, moist and loose. And thanks to the heat stored by the ceramic and the steam retained by the inner lid, you can finish cooking the rice off the heat.
The Emile Henry Rice Pot can be used for preparing a variety of rice-based dishes and āone-potā recipes. It is suitable for cooking other grains and cereals such as quinoa or bulgur. When used to serve, the ceramic keeps the rice warm for the duration of the meal.
